About Brooke Ann
Brooke Ann Coco is a sociotechnical researcher whose work focuses on knowledge infrastructures, digital governance, and the conditions that enable collective agency, autonomy, and accountability. Her research combines qualitative inquiry with systems design to examine how knowledge organisation functions as a critical site of governance, attending to the structural conditions and everyday practices that shape the development, adoption, and governance of emerging technologies. Brooke is an active contributor to Metagov, an online laboratory for digital governance, where her ethnographic work supports the co-development of the Knowledge Organization Infrastructure (KOI), a system designed to enhance the coordination, sustainability, and discoverability of shared knowledge.
