Paige Edmiston recently completed her PhD in anthropology at the University of Colorado Boulder. Paige's research examines the digital transformation of the American health system and its implications for access, equity, and work. Her dissertation project investigated how digital technologies designed to automate diabetes management have played out in the everyday lives of Americans with diabetes and the health workers who care for them. Paige is a Contributing Editor at Platypus.
